MAIL ORDER GUARANTEE
Goods can be exchanged or refunded, provided they are returned to us in an unused condition with their original packaging if arrangements are made by email or telephone with 48 hours of receipt. Please note that any special order items that are not normally held in our stock and have been specifically ordered for a customer are not subject to our normal return policy, this information will be explained at the time of your order. Goods will be exchanged or refunded free of postage charges if the mistake is ours, otherwise post and packing will be charged at cost.
WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT RETURNED GOODS IF THEY ARE STILL OF MERCHANDISABLE QUALITY. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNED GOODS IF THEY HAVE OBVIOUSLY BEEN USED. IN PARTICULAR THIS MEANS WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNED NEW GUITARS THAT SHOW SIGNS OF PLAYING WEAR AS THIS RENDERS THEM USED AND MUST BE SOLD AS SUCH.
DATA PROTECTION
Vintage and Rare Guitars will collect and store information about you if you place an order for the purposes of processing and fulfilling that order. We will collect and store any data that you may volunteer to us whilst using our services, e.g. (registration, placing an order or requesting a catalogue). Any data is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Any stored data will be solely held by Vintage and Rare Guitars and will never be shared, sold or rented to any other party. Vintage and Rare Guitars will not store credit or debit card information on our website, on the Internet or via any other means of electronic storage, except for the period of sending and retrieval (transfer) of that information from a secure page (such as our order form) in the form of an encrypted email when an order is placed. Vintage and Rare Guitars takes every precaution to ensure your privacy and that customer information is protected online and offline (e.g. Telephone mail order). In addition to the above, we give you a choice of ordering methods that do not necessarily require you to send credit card information over the Internet.

DELIVERY INFORMATION
We value your business and endeavor to have all orders processed within 24 hours of receiving them, if there is going to be a delay we will contact you as soon as possible to explain the situation.
Vintage and Rare Guitars primarily use Royal Mail and Business Post Parcel services to dispatch goods to customers. We will use the most appropriate service available for the goods being dispatched these services normally require a signature on receipt of the package(s). We reserve the right to use alternative methods at our discretion. Normal delivery days are Tuesday – Friday. Our typical current website carriage charges (as of December 2008) are based on weight and volume.

Large items over 10kg in weight or requiring additional insurance will be charged at cost and will be notified to the customer prior to dispatch.
All orders received after 4pm (1pm for guitars) will be dispatched the following working day. Deliveries to outside the UK mainland (i.e. Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Shetland) please phone or email for delivery quotation. 01235 330888
