The TA-23 Booster is a powerful electrical instrument preamplifier that allows up to 22dB of full-range level boost. Gain, Tone and Output level can be adjusted independently. It has been designed for the use with an electrical guitar or bass in conjunction with a tube amplifier. It is based on discrete germanium transistor circuitry. Thus, it is not a linear device, and will always add a flavour to the sound, especially at high gain settings. The unit may be powered from a single 9V battery or a 7-18V DC external power supply.
