Vintage and Rare Guitar

This is a very early Round Up with a highly figured, very large knotty pine top. It has all the early appointments ie. western inlays, steers' head headstock, western scene cowboy tailpiece, brass melita bridge and plain 1st inlay - predominantly found on 1954 models. These guitars have been described in the Gretsch book by Jay Scott as the "Best Bar-B-Que in town!" They really are a period "work of art" and it would be hard to find a more appealing and desirable example.
