1928 - Martin 2-17H
The 2-17 was Martin's first guitar braced for steel strings, launched in 1922 it was described in the martin catalogue as "amateur size", but soon became martin's best selling guitar. Although many have been converted to play conventionally this remains in it's original form and is designed to be played Hawaiian style, with no frets. This guitar is in amazing condition for it's age, with original case and really sounds the part.
