Staff Pick -1961 Gibson ES-355 TDC

It's an absolute pleasure to offer for sale this stunning, rare and super-clean Gibson ES-355. Gibson shipped 174 of this model in 1961 and this has to be one of the cleanest examples still out there, retaining an incredibly vibrant cherry finish. It's also one of the rarer factory sideways Vibrola models which we find perfect for subtle shimmers over sustained chords especially when dialling in some reverb. It's all original, with features including factory Grover tuners, gold hardware throughout, short guard, reflector knobs, an untouched loom (with the pots still in their original cans) and two unopened short magnet PAF pickups which sound superb. There is a wonderful airiness and clarity to the sound and with the Varitone giving a host of tonal options it is a hugely versatile instrument.

To top things off it also comes complete with its original brown Lifton hard case. A stunning collector grade example from an excellent period of Gibson production.
