1961 Vox AC-15
Debuting in 1958, the AC-15 was Vox's first dedicated electric guitar amp. The AC-15 went through a few circuit and cabinet designs before 1961 when the circuit went to its third incarnation with the new classic cosmetics of Fawn Rexine covering, brass vents and black top panel. Famous for the single Celestion 'Blue' TS30, the speaker in ours dates from 1961 and provides the perfect voice for the AC-15's renowned warm Class A, EL-84 tones. The amp has been recently serviced and is sounding superb.
