Super cool Gibson Dave Grohl Signature DG-335. Inspired by Grohl's much loved ‘60s Gibson Trini Lopez the DG-335 was released in 2007 and designed with the input of Grohl himself and the talented craftsmen of the Gibson Custom Shop. The guitar was a limited release with only 300 guitars made, 100 in black and 200 in Pelham Blue with the Certificate signed by Grohl himself.

The guitar features many of the traits that make the original Trini Lopez Model such a striking take on the traditional ES-335 design. It has the classic Firebird headstock with six-on-a-side tuners set into an ES-335 style semi-hollow body with Diamond f-holes and split diamond inlays on the Rosewood fretboard. The DG-335 has a stop tailpiece and ABR-1 replacing the wooden inlayed trapeze of the original Trini Lopez design. Pickups are at Grohl’s request a Gibson Burstbucker 1 in the neck and Gibson Burstbucker 2 in the bridge. The neck is a comfortable rounded C profile with a 1 11/16” nut width.

The condition of the guitar is excellent, the guitar has been lightly played and has the odd light mark from gentle use but is overall very good. The Pelham Blue finish is uniform save for some slight greening to the rear of the neck, and the guitar is free from lacquer checking. Chrome hardware is equally good throughout. The DG-335 has gone on to become one of the most sought after Signature instruments Gibson has offered especially in Grohl’s favourite Pelham Blue finish.

The guitar includes its Custom Shop case and special certificate of authenticity signed by Grohl.
