After purchasing Epiphone in the late fifties the new Gibson-made Epiphones were given names of older Epiphone models and many of the guitars had a Gibson equivalent. The Broadway was a dual pickup, full depth Electro-Spanish guitar. Due to its full depth and 25 1/2" scale the Broadway shares more in common with the discontinued Gibson ES-350P. It features the unmistakeable Epiphone Sunburst finish and two mini-humbuckers that deliver some fantastic, chiming tones. Other appointments include a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, compensated rosewood bridge, bound tortoiseshell pickguard, gold reflector knobs and Frequensator tailpiece. This example is in amazing original condition and is one of only 28 produced in '64. The guitar comes with its original hard case.
