Player grade, stoptail conversion ES-345 finished in a really attractive dark Wine Red. Features include a stereo output, Varitone, Tim Shaw humbucker pickups, gold hardware, Gibson/Schaller speed winder tuners, split parallelogram inlays, triple bound top and back, Rosewood fingerboard, and crown peghead inlay.

This example has been converted to stoptail with the original trapeze tailpiece retained in the case. It also features a locking TonePros tailpiece and bridge, and has been refretted with stainless steel frets making it one killer playing guitar with a tone to match thanks to a pair of original Tim Shaw designed Gibson humbuckers. These more than live up to their reputation with an open, airy PAF like tone which is very well balanced.

The neck profile is a slim to medium 'C' with a very comfortable wide/flat feel to it. The neck shows some play wear due to frequent use over the years - a sure sign of its merits as an instrument. Overall it's been well looked after, and for a 40 year old guitar shows only light worming to the back and the odd hairline scratch to the body.

A stunning looking guitar and a fantastic all round instrument. Comes complete with Gibson hard shell case.
