Super cool Fender Vintage Hot Rod ’62 Stratocaster from 2007 in Olympic White. The Vintage Hot Rod Series takes look and general specs of the ever-popular American Vintage or AVRI Series and tweaks the recipe to give the player a more modern experience without compromising the Vintage Aesthetic.

The guitar features a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish over an alder body, a larger C shaped maple neck with a 9.5” radius, and 21 medium-jumbo frets in a dark slab Rosewood fingerboard. The pickups vary only slightly from 'normal' '62 spec in that we have a trio of American Vintage single-coils, but the middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity, meaning that the in-between positions on the five-way selector (two and four) are hum-cancelling. The tone pot is mounted to the bridge pickup.

The guitar is in great condition, it has been played and enjoyed and has picked up the odd knock and scrape and there are a couple of patches of filled lacquer. All of this gives the guitar plenty of vibe and it has a look far older than a 2007 vintage. The guitar has previously had a different guard fitted but the original 3-ply is now fitted there is additional screw holes hidden under the pickguard.
The guitar plays well and sounds excellent, it comes with its original brown G&G case and assorted accessories.
