Model Overview:

Iconic design deluxe version of the Rickenbacker 4000, the 4001 model was in production from 1961 until the early 1980's. Designed by well-known luthier Roger Rossmeisl the 4001 carries on the 4000's famous "crested-wave" body shape and features neck-through construction, twin pickups (with Rick-O-Sound wiring from 1971) and deluxe appointments including bound body and bound neck with triangle inlays. The White finish has aged to a mellow cream that looks great with the black binding and all the famous punchy 4001 tones are to hand.

This instrument comes with a modern Rickenbacker case.
