The guitar features a Maple top, back and sides with a Mahogany neck, the fingerboard is a particularly nice dark piece of Indian Rosewood with dot inlay position markers. The neck has a comfortable 60’s profile with a measurement at the 1st fret of 21.48mm and 23.10 at the 12th. Nut width is 42.25mm. The pickups are excellent sounding Gibson ’57 Classics with DC readings of 7.77 and 7.76 in the neck and the bridge positions respectively. The hardware is all vintage influenced and comprises of Grover Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, a Nashville ABR bridge and stopbar tailpiece, a wide bevel 3-ply pickguard, early sixties style reflector knobs and Catalin style switch tip.
The guitar plays well set up on 11’s with a lively acoustic ring, the pickups sound great with the ever consistent ’57 Classics delivering a wide range of useable tones that work well for all genres. The guitar weighs in at a very decent 7.8lbs and comes with its original Gibson case, Gibson Memphis Certificate and warranty card.
