2014 Gibson Memphis Historic ES-225TD - Sunburst

Model Overview:

Fantastic Gibson Memphis Reissue of the classic thinline hollowbody electric introduced by Gibson in 1956, featuring a Florentine cutaway, the Les Paul combined bridge and tailpiece (also used on the Les Paul from 1952-1953 and on the ES-295). The ES-225 had originally debuted in 1955 with a single middle position P90 but the TD was the twin pickup version with conventional pickup positioning. This model is often overlooked as a great, viable alternative to an ES-330.

The reissue retains all the well-loved traits of the original with laminated maple construction, quarter-sawn mahogany neck secured with hot hide glue and Tobacco Sunburst finish with nickel hardware. The two Memphis Historic Spec P90äó»s sound glorious and apart from a changed switch tip the guitar is all-original with the original hard case and tags.
