The 9.5” radius fingerboard allows the guitar to be set up with a good action without the risk of choking whilst maintaining a comfortable curve to the fingerboard board. The Noiseless pickups sound good, maintaining the unmistakable Strat sound with no hum. Turning the knob clockwise from the notch adds presence and brightness; turning it counterclockwise from the detent rolls off high frequencies. The mid-boost is perhaps the most popular feature of the Clapton Stratocaster, bringing the control clockwise boosts mid and Bass frequencies up to 25db boost once fully clockwise.
