A very rare, original custom colour Sonic Blue Stratocaster in superb condition complete with original white Tolex case. Rarely seen in today's market, this is an excellent opportunity to acquire an original, golden era Strat in one of the most sought after finishes.

A stunning looking guitar and an excellent example of one of the most desirable Fender custom colours, Sonic Blue. The finish has aged beautifully with some wonderful, subtle greening to the front which looks stunning with the original 'mint' guard. Overall the guitar is in really good condition with some dings and scratches typical of an instrument of this age.

The guitar has been refretted and the board was reshot during the process which makes the original clay dot markers appear newer, but they are original and the guitar is playing beautifully as a result.

The original Stackpole pots all match and date to the 47th week of '63. The neck date is Oct '63, and all specs conform to this period.

A rarely seen desirable custom colour Strat complete with original case and strap.
