This is a vibey Washburn R314KK from 2008. Part of the 125th Anniversary celebrations Washburn released a handful of models designed to capture the essence of the parlour guitar models it was famous for in the 18th and early 19th Century. The top is aged spruce whilst the back and sides are Trembesi. The Mahogany neck features a bound Ebony fingerboard with various inlayed position markers, an open slotted headstock and aged tuners. The nut and saddle are both bone. Appointments are suitably inspired with the rope binding and delicate ebony bridge. A very playable neck has a era-correct V profile paired with a wide 48.8mm nut width and 24.75 scale.
This guitar was part of Ace's private collection.
