Super 2016 Martin Guitars 000-15M in excellent condition. Continuing a tradition that goes back to the 1930’s the 15 Series features solid Mahogany construction throughout with a Satin finish fulfilling Martin’s remit of an affordable, quality flattop that doesn’t compromise one bit on feel and sound.
Featuring an Auditorium body with genuine Mahogany Top, back, sides and neck, Indian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, 14 fret, body join with Spruce X patterned bracing internally. Following with the Style 15’s heritage, appointments are minimal yet refined with a simple multi-stripe soundhole rosette, unbound body and neck, East Indian Rosewood Headstock Veneer with Gold Script, Old Style C.F.Martin Logo, Nickel plated open gear Grover tuners. Diamonds and Squares inlays punctuate the fingerboard at the 5th 7th and 9th frets.
The guitar is in great condition, the satin finish is free from marks and blemishes and the original frets show no sign of wear. Playability is great, strung with 12 gauge strings the action is just over 3mm at the 12th fret. The neck shape is Martins Modified Low Oval profile with a nut width of 43.22mm.
Tonally the guitar has opened up nicely offering a rich and warm tone with excellent projection.
