Description
Immaculate Pearl front Martin D-41 from 2017. First listed in 1969 the D-41 is a highly appointed and stunningly ornamented instrument. With tonewoods and construction like that of the venerable D-28 the D-41 sports gorgeous detailing like hexagonal inlays, fancy pearl binding, and gold-plated hardware. This guitar is in superb condition throughout and a great sounding instrument.

Featuring a choice Sitka Sprue top and attractive Indian Rosewood Back and sides with a Mahogany neck. The bound Ebony fingerboard is punctuated by a series of Pearl Hexagon inlays and the bound headstock proudly displays the inlayed white mother-of-pearl C. F. Martin logo vertically alongside Gold plated tuners. The edge bound Sitka Spruce top has an abalone pearl perimeter and a mirroring pearl soundhole rosette. The two piece rosewood back is separated by a wooden marquetry back strip. The Ebony bridge has a drop in saddle and white pins with abalone dots.

The guitar sounds great with a huge, warm enveloping tone. It's well balanced with good projection and decent headroom with a pleasant tone that works well when picked or strummed. The neck is a comfortable C profile that tapers nicely from nut to body, the nut width is 43.92mm and the action at the 12th fret is 2.75mm.

All in an excellent playing and sounding example of a nearly new D-41 built with the exemplary quality Martin Guitars are known for. The guitar comes with its original Martin Case
