1967 Epiphone Excellente FT-120 - Natural
Model Overview:
Epiphone FT-120 Excellente from 1967. These were the most expensive Gibson produced guitars when new in the 1960's and were designed to be an ornate Gibson/Epiphone version of Martin's famous pre-War herringbone D-28.
Spruce top, rosewood back and sides, bound Ebony fingerboard with cloud inlays and inlaid headstock. All original except for a replacement pickguard and the adjustable bridge saddle has been replaced with a more traditional bone saddle, although the original is in the case. An absolutely stunning guitar and very rare - total production from 1963 to 1969 was only 139. Comes with the original hardshell case.
