Early, rare, top of the line Fender JV Tele 52-95 made for the Japanese domestic market in 1983.

The TL52-95 model had premium features at the time including US made pickups, controls and vintage correct pickguard. It also featured an attractive Butterscotch Blonde nitro finish on a figured Ash body.

This example is in really good overall condition and retains all of it's original parts. It plays superbly and offers the classic Tele bite and snap you'd expect along with bell like, rich neck pickup tones. The neck profile is a medium C, slimmer than your typical US made Blackguard reissue. It plays incredibly well with an excellent response and resonance even when unplugged.

The neck is pencil dated 10-27-83, the two matching CTS pots are the 27th week of '82 and the guitar weighs in at a comfortable 7.5lbs. Besides some non-original soldering under the hood everything appears original. The guitar also has an original custom ordered/personalised embossed neck plate with the original owner's name.

Comes complete with tweed hard case.
