The guitar is in excellent original condition and features a traditional laminate body with Maple top, back and sides. The fingerboard is a particularly nice piece of Indian Rosewood with block inlay position markers. The Headstock has the traditional ES-335 Crown and Gibson Logo inlayed in pearl. The Mahogany neck has a comfortable Rounded C profile with a measurement at the 1st fret of 22.55mm and the 12th of 24.79 . Nut width is 42.92mm. The pickups are excellent sounding BurstBucker I and II humbuckers with Alnico II magnets and DC readings of 7.56K and 7.35K in the bridge and neck respectively. The guitar was previously fitted with some aftermarket pickups but the original excellent sounding Burstbucker I and II humbuckers have been reinstalled. The nickel plated hardware comprises Grover Rotomatic tuners, ABR-1 bridge and and Advanced plating Inc tailpiece and studs. The plastics are all in great shape with the wide bevel pickguard, black pickup surrounds and bonnet knobs completing the look.
The guitar plays great with a lively acoustic ring, pickups sound great with the ever consistent BurstBucker I and II’s delivering a wide range of useable tones that work well for all genres. A great looker with the Faded Lightburst finish reminiscent of the Larry Carton ES-335. The guitar weighs in at a decent 8.5lbs and comes with its original Gibson Case, Gibson Memphis Certificate and Warranty card.
