Well kept, nearly new Fender Custom Shop ’61 Stratocaster in Super Faded Sonic Blue finish from 2020. This great looking guitar has an authentic Journeyman Relic finish that combined with the dark ‘board and three ply guard really looks the part!

Featuring a two piece Alder body with Super Faded Sonic Blue Nitrocellulose finish, a 21 fret Slab Rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5” radius and medium Jumbo 6150 frets. Being a Journeyman Relic the finish is designed to resemble an instrument that has been well taken care of over the years but has finish checking, some “friendly” down-to-the-wood nicks. The neck has a lightly aged finish and is free from heavy simulated wear. The neck has an accurate early 60’s oval profile measuring 20.56mm at the 1st fret tapering to 23.86 mm at the 12th with a comfortable 41.86mm nut width. The electronics are mounted to a 3-ply pickguard and feature a trio of handwound Fender ’60 pickups wired in Fender's modern method with a five-way switch and tone control on all three pickups. The pickups measure 5.34K, 5.36K and 5.35K in the Neck, Middle and Bridge respectively. The hardware is period appropriate and Nickel plated throughout.

Effortlessly playable and wonderful sounding the Fender Custom Shop has been consistently producing great guitars for over 30 years and this Stratocaster is no exception. Weighing in at a very reasonable 7.9bs the guitar comes with its original chocolate Tolex Custom Shop G&G case with Certificate and Custom Shop Strap.
